It's Week 16 of the NFL season, and in the Christmas spirit, it means it's that time when several teams can get presents and clinch playoff spots, or get coal and see their hopes end.
NFL games will be played on the holiday weekend, beginning with the New Orleans Saints (7-7) visiting the Los Angeles Rams (7-7) in a Thursday night contest between two playoff hopefuls. The action resumes with two games: the Cincinnati Bengals (8-6) at the Pittsburgh Steelers (7-7) and the Buffalo Bills (8-6) at the Los Angeles Chargers (5-9).
The highlight of Sunday is the Dallas Cowboys (10-4) visiting the Miami Dolphins (10-4), but the true gift comes on Christmas Day, as the nightcap of the three-game slate pits the No. 1 teams in the AFC and NFC in a possible Super Bowl matchup: the Baltimore Ravens (11-3) at the San Francisco 49ers (11-3), giving NFL fans a big reason to celebrate.
